Well, in an interesting twist, all my installed ports themselves work but the port command is broken. <br><br>I need to fix this but it is too late tonight to tackle and I see great potential for hosing my port system. <br>

<br><br>Presumably a force upgrade of all installed ports will recompile them<br>for i386.<br><br>sudo port -f upgrade installed<br><br>I myself would take the opportunity to clean out stuff and start with<br>a fresh /opt in a move from a PB to a Macbook.
