hello, i have a calenderserver version -2.4 from apple running on a linux squeeze box, and i have set up some users on the calendar server like joe with the emailaddresses joe(a)domain.com and jack with jack(a)domain.com the calendar server itself has the name cal.domain.com if i send invitations form joe s iphone to jack(a)domain.com the server finds jack on itself and all is working if i send an invitation to a user that is not on the servet the email gets sent out and holds the ics file. the normal emailaccounts of jack and joe are on a imap server that is not running on that calendar server. it is a linux box running courier and postfix. so if a email with an attached ics file arrives it gets forwarded to ics(a)domain.com (well to be onnest i have to set that rule up on maildrop - so if someone has an idea on that please tell me) and so that ics email gets to the box and gets pulled via pop by the calendar server that is processing the ics is that way of mailrouting ok with the setup? if not how can you handle innvitations that you get on your regular emailaddress and which needs to get to the caldav server? i assume that to pull just one pop account is compatible with many users on the server? so that many mailboxes just forward their mails into that single account to get processed. second mailrouting question block if the calendar server sends out an invitation to a extern user, how is the reply adress build? i found out that in the exim logfile of calendar it showed that the server tried also to send away an email with the address johnson.jack(a)cal.domain.com so it seemed to me that the caldav server build the reply address out of the username which the user takes to login and the hostname of the calendar. so if the server uses that way to selfbuild its reply address i have to setup the mailrouting for *(a)cal.domain.com to get bundle all emails that get back to ics(a)domain.com so that the server can poll them via pop thank you very much for your previous replies, Lisa

hello, i have a calenderserver version -2.4 from apple running on a linux squeeze box and i wanted to know sth about collection listing that are shown in http://www.example.com:8008/: * .calendarserver_version =version of caldav * admin = Calendar Server Web Administration * calendars = all cals of users, groups, resources, locations.. * inbox = ??? when i click and login with username of superuser and pass i got: ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access /inbox. * ischedule = ??? when i click in it it is just shown a label: Server To Server Inbox Resource but nothing else, and in caldav.plist i've this /etc/caldavd/servertoserver.xml configuration but there is no file named servertoserver.xml on /etc/caldavd/ * principals = all principals resources * webcal = ??? when i click in it i got the error message:The resource /webcal cannot be found. pls if u can help me solving this issues about caldav.. regards, lisa

hello, i have a calenderserver version -2.4 from apple running on a linux squeeze box, i want to know how to config IMIP SETTINGS??? i got an error message after i setup an imap account: [Uninitialized] [twistedcaldav.mail.IMAP4DownloadFactory#error] IMAP factory connection failed? i would appreciate any help
