It runs as its own user, so may it is a privileges problem... Nevertheless, the server starts up well (see below), but when I try to access it, I get an error message like "Message too long" (also see below). Is this some kind of misconfiguration? It seems that with r3650 and r3651 the po files should not be the primary source anymore. But on startup .mo files are generated from the .lproj folder. If this is meant this way then please delete the .po and .mo files so people do not get confused. It did not work for me doing some research I found the problem. source:/CalendarServer/trunk/calendarserver/tools/bootstrapdatabase.py?rev=6920#L76 just checks the output. Releases and tarballs

Hey, I mentioned some of that on IRC but I think it might be good to put it public for general discussion: 1) it would be awesome to have downloadable tarballs for release checkouts. A lot of open source projects seem to use these + patches to build the package. Having to through the SVN checkout myself, put the tarball up somewhere, ... just makes it harder. So why not do it at once the source rather than everyone individually? Might be a more general Mac OS Forge thing and I can take it elsewhere if needed, just let me know. 2) I'd love to see another PyKerberos release tagged, esp. since the license change happened and a couple of other minor things. 3) The trac wiki/home webpage still states "CalendarServer-3.0 (in development)" on the link. Remove the .0 maybe or replace it by an .x, or ...? I felt it was confusing at the 3.3+ stage. Thanks /bz -- Bjoern A. Zeeb You have to have visions! It does not matter how good you are. Attached log file ends with warning: install_data: setup script did not provide a directory for 'caldavclientlibrary/ui/WebDAVBrowser.nib' -- installing right in '../package/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6' error: can't copy 'caldavclientlibrary/ui/WebDAVBrowser.nib': doesn't exist or not a regular file I don't know what script warns this line. Please fix this problem.
