Problems with report

Hi, I'm working on some CalDAV-Software, at the moment only a small java-library, and I'm trying to test the REPORT-method. I've send a modified example (only the dates modified) from the CalDAV-RfC (7.8.1) and got an internal server error. I'm running rev1602 and can't upgrade atm, but I couldn't find a similar bug in the bug tracker. What are dropbox and notifications?

iCal 3.0 - Connecting to iCal server on localhost

I installed (using the default test XML file) the iCal Server and started it running on my Leopard developer seed from WWDC - all seems fine I can browse to: http://localhost:8008 But when trying to add an account in iCal Version 3.0 (1166) it just hangs or does nothing - I'm using the admin/admin login and tried the server as http://localhost:8008 and http://127.0.0.1:8008 The iCal server logs show it get one request (some times) also in the system log iCal returns a warning "not an absolute path" Anyone got this running? Hi. Is anyone using already a web interface for Calendar Server? Does anyone know if it would be feasible to use OSAF Scooby (Cosmo Web Interface) for it? I know that Scooby and Cosmo have been merged, and do not know if it is tightly coupled to Cosmo. Some other hints? Best regards. Calendar subscription authorization

Hello folks, I'm new here and I've just installed calendar server on my Mac OS X Server Tiger. Every thing seems to work well. Admin and ordinary users can create and publish calendar with iCal. The subscription doesn't work well. Admin could subscribe to ordinary users calendars but ordinary users could not subscribe to admin calendar (it seems logical) and to other ordinary users calendars. I made a group un conf/accounts-test.xml with all my non-admin users but it does not change anything. I suppose (but I'm not sure) that the answer is in sudoers.plist file but I don't see how. Help will be really appreciate. What are the entry points for defining ACL's ? let's say I've got the following user setup : BeerBrewingGroup RaymondTheBarTender GerardTheLeadBrewer JackyTheBrewingTechnician I want Gerard to be able to read Ray and Jacky's calendar But hiw very own calendar will only be visible to his boss. For team comunication, the BeerBrewingGroup is the place to publish events. As the whole team may comunicate about its activity, the 3 guys will have full access over the BeerBrewingGroup calendar. Could anybody provide sample configs files ? Calendar Server production ready?

Hi all has anyone experiences in running Calendar Server in a productiv environment? Our goal is to setup Calendar Server on a server, which serves as the calendaring backend for a web-application. As I am new to this area, I need some advices, to decide myself. Calendar Server seems not to have an official release yet, therefore my questions. Some concrete questions: - Are the scheduling features (Invitation requests, ...) implemented and stable? - How does it scale? Where are the limits? Number of calendars, users? Any other considerations regarding a production environmen? Thanks in advance! Andreas

Setting permissions or ACLs on calendarserver.

I am currently running calendarserver on an OSX server and I am using XMLDirectoryService. I have figured out how to add Principals to the accounts.xml file. When I look at the server using a web browser I can see all the users accounts. But when I browse to another users calendar cannot see their calendar. If I browse to my own calendar then I can see it just fine. I am guessing that I need to configure something along the lines of ACLs. I cannot find any documentation that allows me to configure to allow a person to read or edit another users calendar. Nor can I read another persons calendar. Is there documentation on how to set this up.
