resourcetype issue

Greetings. I installed CalenderServer on Freebsd, and started with two users and a location in the accounts file. I tried connecting to a user calender with Sunbird, but I get an error "The resource at ... is a DAV collection but not a CalDAV calendar". This error is caused when Sunbird doesn't detect "calendar" in the resourcetype property CalServer sends back. I verified that "calendar" wasn't in the resourcetype prop via the web interface. I noticed the location I has set up does in fact have the correct property set. Is this a bug, or am I not doing something correctly? The accounts.xml is basically the default with the names changed. Everything else is default. I'm using rev 1797. Thanks

Calendar Access Control

I'm trying to set up a calendar server with group calendars to which most people will have read only access, and a few key people will have write access as well. Is there currently a way to set up a permission scheme like this? From my research, I read that ACL support is implemented in the server, but that no clients exist to take advantage of this. Is this still the case? If so, is there a way to manually change ACLs from the server? Thanks. Darren

Building on A PPC box

Yes, I am running Tiger Server. The first time I tried to compile the software, I used the Xcode tools from a 10.4.7 Server (Universal) DVD with the same error. Thinking it was an issue with the Universal installer not being quite Universal, I formatted the drive, reinstalled Server and Xcode using a 10.4.0 DVD and then used software update to update to 10.4.10. Reinstalled Subversion and downloaded a fresh copy of Calendar Server with the same result. TIA for any help. Pat

Building Calendar Server

Hello- I am using an older G4 box as a development server. When trying to build calendarserver, I am getting this error. Commit #1745(*) to trunk changes the way the server stores ACLs on disk to use a new principal URL form (eg. /principals/__uids__/ FC967643-5B0B-4E22-8657-59832A6AB303). This is not a compatible change with existing data repositories, so if you upgrade your server, any existing data may have trouble with any ACLs that have been written to disk, since the entries won't match the users any more.
