I have just installed calendarserver, and I can't access any calendars. On the client side I use Iceweasel, and I have tried both ICS and CalDAV; in both cases I find messages in the log saying the X-Authorize-As header is missing: ICS - client: [Exception... So, obviously I haven't set everything up as required. Is there a good desription of how to do this anywhere? I followed http://wiki.debian.org/HowTo/CalendarServer, but it doesn't tell how to set up those parts. /jan

For the list. Sorry about dropping the CC. ---- Hi Glyph - Well I re-installed python, this time version 2.7. I installed once from MacPorts and once using the .dmg distribution from python.org. Unfortunately neither install corrected the problem. Later I read the README file and discovered Twisted isn't supposed to work with Python 2.7 so I re-installed 2.6 from MacPorts. I couldn't find a 2.6 distribution on the python.org site but I didn't really look hard either. what LDAP schema includes loginEnabled ?

Code and plist references loginEnabled attribute but I can't see that as a part of any of my schema files on my LDAP server? Is this a 'new' apple.schema attribute for Lion or is there a schema I'm missing? I currently use the following schema: core.schema collective.schema corba.schema cosine.schema duaconf.schema inetorgperson.schema java.schema misc.schema nis.schema openldap.schema kerberos.schema apple_auxiliary.schema samba.schema apple.schema (modified as per common modification needs for apple schemas on linux ldap) Rob

Create Group Calendars?

I'm missing something... How do I create group calendars? I have LDAP working it seems and able to view my groups via /principals/groups/<groupname>/ on the web gui but not able to access via ical. I've tried the calendarserver_manage_principals script but after a quick look at the code it's not doing anything but start the server with the caldavd-dev.plist from the src tree. I also tried the CalDAVClient tool but it doesn't seem to do what I need to do? Would love a hint or two. thanks, Rob
