Exception reading generated PythonDirector configuration

Hi all, I am trying to determine if this is an error in my configuration, but I think perhaps not. The error message reads: [pydir] pydirector.pdconf.ConfigError: expected 'service' or 'admin', got 'control' This is thrown from pydirector/pdconf.py, PDConf.__init__(self, filename=None, xml=None) The filename is a generated file that in this instance contains a 'control' element as a child of the 'pdconfig' element. This XML file is generated in calendarserver/tap/caldav.py, in CalDAVServiceMaker.makeService_Combined(…)which has code like so: pdconfig = """<pdconfig>%s<control socket="%s" /></pdconfig>""" % ( "\n".join(services), config.PythonDirector.ControlSocket, ) I think this method must be constructing an XML file that cannot be read by PythonDirector. The services are concatenated, but then the ControlSocket element is appended before the closing 'pdconfig' tag. This is evidently unacceptable because the element is a 'control' element and not one of 'service', 'admin', or 'logging'. I am using the control socked suggested in the caldavd-test.xml: <key>ControlSocket</key> <string>logs/caldavd-pydir.sock</string> and the problem element appears in the temporary XML fed to PDConf.__init__(…): <control socket="logs/caldavd-pydir.sock" /> Could anyone advise? Encrypted users passwords

Client on iCAL doesn't send accept mail back...

Hi. I have finally got the CalendarServer, trunk 9922 up and running on Centos 6.3 with iMIP and everything works as expected. If I create a event and invite some user on gmail, that user get's email and he accepts. gmail.com sends an email to the calendarserver which injects it and marks it as accepted. Everything works. Now the problem, if I create a event and invite a user running OS X, Apple Mail and iCAL he gets it normall in email, accepts it in iCAL but the client never sends accept to the server. Nothing in LOGS, no SMTP traffic after the user presses ACCEPT. Is Apple iCAL broken ? Summery : + Gmail, client accepts. It returns as accepted into the calserver. + iCAL, client accepts. It dosn't return any info or traffic back.... Please, any help and or information regarding this issue would be much appreciated. As All my clients are running OS X and Apple Mail, (iCAL). Building PyKerberos Problem

Hi all, I had to restart my server this morning and now I am running into the following problem and do not know how to solve it. I am sure I am just stupid..... Building PyKerberos... Current working copy (/Users/lounge/dcs/PyOpenDirectory) is from the wrong URI: http://svn.macosforge.org/repository/calendarserver/PyOpenDirectory/trunk != http://svn.calendarserver.org/repository/calendarserver/PyOpenDirectory/tru… Performing repository switch for PyOpenDirectory... svn: 'http://svn.calendarserver.org/repository/calendarserver/PyOpenDirectory/tru…' is not the same repository as 'http://svn.macosforge.org/repository/calendarserver' I did run the script to switch away from macosforge..... What happened to Apache DirectoryService?

Hi all, I've installed the debian's calendarserver 3.2 package and it works, but I would like to be able to use it with the users I maintain on a dovecot's Passwd-file (see http://wiki2.dovecot.org/AuthDatabase/PasswdFile) than can be made compatible with Apache files like the ones documented on: https://trac.calendarserver.org/browser/CalendarServer/trunk/doc/Admin/Dire… but, after looking at the repository, I've seen that the documentation is there but the Apache and SQL Directory Services were removed from trunk three years ago when merging a branch: https://trac.calendarserver.org/changeset/4958 So, my question is: were they removed because they were buggy or simply because nobody was using them? I've seen that the debian package has a NSS based directory service that works and is maintained by the debian developers, so my plan was to change it to be able to read apache like files, but maybe it makes more sense to start from he old Apache files... so, ¿any advice on where to start from?
