I just finished a FreeBSD port of CalendarServer 5.1. It is currently waiting for commit to get included in the ports tree: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=186201 I tested it on FreeBSD 9.2 and did a successful upgrade of the database schema from CalendarServer 4.3 to 5.1. LDAP Authentication fields

Hi everyone, A simple and stupid question: I'm currently working with the calendarserver and a ldap server. Users should be authenticated with the ldap server, but the uid field what is used by the calendarserver to look for the right user, is used for something different in my setup. I have there an integer. So how can i configure calendarserver to use the 'cn' or any other self defined field? Thank you Ulrich Fourier

delegation drops

it seems every evening something happens server-side and we need to quit the calendar server process and re-start in order for delegates to show in the Calendar app. each morning we then have to go back into account prefs and re-enable delegation. any ideas? thanks! andy

running trunk on ubuntu

Hi guys, I'm trying to install the trunk on ubuntu according to README.rst (after successfully doing so on my dev machine, a mac) but ./bin/develop just silently fails. No error, no nothing. Maybe I should just stick to 5.1 for now? Atli.

Correct steps for deployment

Hi all, I've seen plenty of warnings about not using the development setup in production but I have yet to find any documentation/examples of how to run this in production. Does anyone have any pointers/links for running this on an ubuntu server? Atli.
