Error messages from CalendarServer-7.0 when using external PostgreSQL database

Hi, I observed a problem when running the development build of CalendarServer-7.0 using an external PostgreSQL database. Errors like the following shows up: 2015-11-11 14:25:59+0100 [-] [caldav-0] [-] [twext.enterprise.jobs.jobitem#error] JobItem: 72, WorkItem: 72 failed: [Failure instance: Traceback: <type 'exceptions.TypeError'>: Unicode value for key 'id' not allowed: u'/CalDAV/localhost/10000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001/calendar/' When running the same setup with internal PostgreSQL database everything seems to work fine. configuration for APNS push notifications

Hi, I am trying to setup push notifications in CalendarServer 7 and I think I have managed to figure out how to configure the Notifications/APNS in caldavd-dev.plist; when I connect the iOS Calendar client, I can see that inside the Preferences/Accounts the setting: "Refresh Calendar: Push". Server side, I have checked and the SubscriptionURL has received a http request with the "key" and "token" parameters. But the notifications are not working between two devices (Macbook and iPhone). I have figured out that I didn't use a correct certificate/key. However I am still confused about the following: * what is expected in the AuthorityChainPath? * how can I get the required certificates and key that would work for the calendarserver? I know that on OSX Server.app this is automated. * the push topic is the bundleID of the target app. does this mean that push notifications would work only for the OSX/iOS Calendar client? webcal interface with Firefox & Chromium

Hi all, We use CalendarServer from OS X Server 5.x. The included webcal interface is very nice, but seems to only work in Safari and IE, and not in Firefox nor Chromium. Is this a server bug or browser bug? Are there any workarounds? Thanks for the clue! However, the Debian package is configured to use postgresql by default. But I think based on what you're saying that there may be a communication issue between the database and caldavd. I've installed the latest Debian calendarserver package on Ubuntu 14.04 on 3 different more-or-less identical Dell servers. On one of the 3 servers I am experiencing an error. It started when I imported calendar events from a particularly large calendar. The symptom on the client side is a "CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation" error. It occurs now with every attempt to connect to the account. Apple calendar.app 10.11 ElCapitan no longer connects to calendarserver

Hi, we are running our calendarserver for the mac clients on an ubuntu 14.04 LTS maschine. Unfortunately calendar.app as well as safari no longer connects to calendarserver which uses SSLv3 for encryption wich is no longer considered as a safe connection method and should be replaced by tls. because there is no configuration option in any config file one have to patch /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/twistedcaldav/stdconfig.py in line 254 and replace the SSLv3_METHOD with the TLSv1_METHOD before the # Please fix this - make it an configurable option in calendarserver! Sending a non-standard attribute DCS 6.0
