Thanks you for reply. My ics file has changed to following but I still see no even for "wsanchez"

My server url is : localhost:8008. To invite 'wsanchez' do I need to set invitee as wsancez@localhost:8008 or something??

I also see following in server logs

Looks like your VEVENT is missing the ORGANIZER property (which should be set to “admin” in this example).  Typically, the you would also have an ATTENDEE property for the organizer principal, assuming the organizer was also attending the event.
