FreeBSD port of CalendarServer 5.1 finished
I just finished a FreeBSD port of CalendarServer 5.1. It is currently waiting for commit to get included in the ports tree: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=186201 I tested it on FreeBSD 9.2 and did a successful upgrade of the database schema from CalendarServer 4.3 to 5.1. Please test: https://github.com/mc3/fbsd_local_ports Any feedback welcome, Axel --- PGP-Key:29E99DD6 ☀ +49 151 2300 9283 ☀ computing @ chaos claudius
That's fantastic! I hope to have time to try this soon. Thanks, -dre On Jan 28, 2014, at 9:34 AM, Axel Rau <Axel.Rau@Chaos1.DE> wrote:

It finally made it into the FreeBSD ports collection: http://www.freshports.org/www/calendarserver/ I’m testing it on a fbsd 9.2 box and it seems to run well. I just learnt about the missing service_identity module, which does not exist (yet) in the ports collection. I will try to submit a port for this too. I just learnt about the missing service_identity module, which does not exist (yet) in the ports collection. I will try to submit a port for this too. Done. It would be helpful to commit this small patch which allows to run on FreeBSD 10+: https://trac.calendarserver.org/ticket/802#comment:3
