authentication strategies
Hello, Can anybody describe how I could authenticate to Active Directory to allow any user with an AD account access, and have this username create their own directory in the calendar data store on the fly? Has anybody done this before. Alternatively, I also have access to a Kerberos server I can authenticate against, but it doesn't look like direct Kerb auth is supported yet? I'd be happy to help flesh out a guide on authenticating to AD if anybody is interested in working with me on this. ----------- Joe Auty NetMusician: web publishing software for musicians http://www.netmusician.org joe@netmusician.org
Okay, I think I can answer a part of this myself... I just created another account using the XML config file, and it seems that upon server restart that these files were automatically generated. I'm assuming that the same would happen the first time an AD user were to login? On Feb 5, 2007, at 12:59 PM, Joe Auty wrote:

Right. The resources in the document root that are part of the dynamically-created built-in hierarchy (eg. /principals and / calendars) are all created on-demand as soon as a request comes in that causes them to be looked up. -wsv On Feb 5, 2007, at 10:11 AM, Joe Auty wrote:
