Unix admins guide to setting up caldav on the mac?
Hi, I am unclear as how to setup the CalDav as a daemon? I take it has something to do with "lauchd" which appears to be some sort of init program. Is there a guide specifically telling you how to start CalDav when the system starts. Also is there any other documentation specific to CalendarServer and a small setup that would be useful for a small office or a as a family calendar server. Nick
You could try looking at Lingon (http://lingon.sourceforge.net/) to create the launchd config if you're not familiar with it. -- Regards, Sam On 28 Dec 2007, at 16:45, Nickolas Gray wrote:

Sam, Thanks! That was informative. I tinkered with the program and got it running on the 8008 port of the servers outside IP, and proved that I could go to one of the other machines and subscribe and make changes to the calendar. I haven't tried the launchd setup yet since everything is running out of my development directory. After I get a decent setup I can post an html version of the instructions if anyone is interested.
