Missing Availability.h with 9G55

I'm still new to darwinbuild and running into a problem that I don't understand. It appears that I have the problem discussed and resolve in this trac ticket: http://darwinbuild.macosforge.org/trac/ticket/ 58 . I have a build root using 9G55 and can even see the correct CarbonHeaders in the 9G55.plist file: CarbonHeaders = { version = 9G55; }; Unfortunately, references to stdlib.h and stat.h are causing errors referring to Availability.h and I'm not sure what might be going on or how I might be able to fix it: In file included from /SourceCache/ppp/ppp-314.0.1/Helpers/pppd/ccp.c: 60: /usr/include/stdlib.h:61:26: error: Availability.h: No such file or directory In file included from /SourceCache/ppp/ppp-314.0.1/Helpers/pppd/ccp.c: 60: /usr/include/stdlib.h:283: error: syntax error before '__OSX_AVAILABLE_BUT_DEPRECATED' Can anyone provide guidance on how to solve this problem? great usage of disk space for 9J61

Hello, I have recently been playing with darwinbuild in order to build the opensource components of os x for myself. I started with 9G55 and built the code using the instructions athttp://www.puredarwin.org/developers/darwinbuild . First I downloaded all the roots and then I attempted to build all the projects using 'the brutus way' and this seemed to work for most packages. However when trying this same process out on 9J61, I end up using 71GB of diskspace before running out. Does this seem right? Is there a way of reducing the footprint? By the way http://www.puredarwin.org/developers/darwinbuild has a small typo in the command for X in $(darwinxref version '*' | cut -f 1 -d '-'); do; darwinbuild $X; done Should have a ; removed and read for X in $(darwinxref version '*' | cut -f 1 -d '-'); do darwinbuild $X; done Thanks Chris Gorman

Darwin 9.7 (9J61)

The plist for Darwin 9.7 (9J61) has been added to the server. I am working on compiling roots for the new projects and hope to have them up on the server tomorrow. Thanks -Bill

Source tarballs have moved

We will no longer be serving source tarballs from src.macosforge.org. They are now fetched from opensource.apple.com. If you used to rely on the apache index at src.macosforge.org for looking for tarballs, you can now browse at: http://opensource.apple.com/tarballs/ This is mostly a cosmetic change, they are the same tarballs on the same server, we are just reorganizing things on the backend. There is a redirection in place on the server so that when darwinbuild tries to fetch a tarball, it will find it in the new location. If you find that you can no longer fetch sources, please let me know. For now, Roots and BinaryRoots are not affected by this change, they are still served from src.macosforge.org. Thank you. -Bill

I just wanted to take a second to say a big THANK YOU to this project. Thanks to your help and code, I managed to hack together a working pppd that solves my Bluetooth tethering problem.
