Why do you want to do this? What is your end goal?

I was orginally trying to build Darwin 8 for x86 so I could try Kevin's (I think) patch to gcc to build without the SSE2 optimization. I am reluctant to put Darwin 8 on my Mac and not ready to upgrade to Tiger. I may re-arrange my drives and install Darwin 8 on my mac.... Michael
