It looks great, thanks to all who helped create it. I found a minor issue. The links to "The Macports Guide" should be http://geeklair.net/macports_guide/ as the guide is the same on both the locations. And I think the Trac installation (as the blog) should also use the new design for the left navigation. Thanks for pointing this out, Simon, I just corrected it in r31668.

You are completely right, they should. Nevertheless, the blog and Trac are entities technically separate from our website and many extra steps would have to be taken to further integrate them into our new design. I'm not saying we wont do it, but rather explaining why we haven't. The blog feature is in flux at the moment and its current wordpress incarnation will be going away eventually, so there's no point in investing any time in improving what we currently have there. As for Trac, we're still working on polishing its the functionality details (Trac mails, user permissions, etc); once that's done, I'll push for the visual integration with the new site.
Thanks again, Simon

It would be good if we could get this moved to macosforge soon (ish) as my machine only has a T1 to the world right now (mostly because I haven't gotten serial console working on it yet, so I don't want to move it further away where I get more bandwidth yet). [Incidentally, if anyone has set up serial console on a G4 with a 'Stealth' serial port adaptor, or something similar, I would appreciate any advise - or even just a note saying that you got it to work at some point]. I can do some clever things to help if access to it becomes an issue before it can get moved, though (proxy from a better-connected machine, move the regen to another machine, and/or just move my machine to where I can get well connected GigE). -- Daniel J. Of course Daniel! You have been most kind to host this for us as a trial (and I'm aware it's only a trial and not an "official solution" ;-), and I thank you for that. I'm working with Bill to polish our setup at Mac OS Forge and we both have many entries on our TODO lists, the guide certainly being one of them. I'll try to move it to the top of mine, at least ;-) I thank you again for your continued support to the project! Regards,... -jmpp
