Hi,
I have a question about the master_sites sourceforge setting.
If I use the following the download doesn't work:
master_sites sourceforge
But if use this, then it works:
master_sites sourceforge:portname
Is this intentional or a bug by macports (or me)?
Thanks for your help, Simon
Sounds like a bug to me, which port are you talking about? By default, the mirror subdir is ${name}. -- Anthony Ramine, the infamous MacPorts Trac slave. nox@macports.org

This happened to me with many sourceforge ports. I just noticed it again when I tried upgrading liferea. Without :liferea the download (with -d) just stalled, but with it the download started immediately. It means the first time you tried to fetch it, MacPorts selected a slow mirror. -- Anthony Ramine, the infamous MacPorts Trac slave. nox@macports.org
