Is anyone else having trouble logging into Trac on MacPorts?
Hi everyone, I'm having problems that I haven't seen before while trying to log onto Trac. My attempts to do so over https just resulted in repeated requests for my username and password, while doing so over http resulted in: Login to trac failed! Message was "". I checked the page source, and it was plain text rather than HTML. I can still browse the website, though. Is something up with the server? Hello Kevin! Some of us are having problems logging into trac, with an error that looks like: Login to trac failed! Message was "". I think most aren't suffering from this, not only because I've seen some trac activity lately on the timeline (ryandesign closing a ticket about half an hour ago, for instance), but also because if they were they would have certainly yelled loudly by now ;-) On the other hand, I think it's just us three, Vincent, Muan Suang and I, with the same error. Any info from us you'd need to debug the issue? Thanks for looking into it! Regards,... -jmpp On May 24, 2007, at 3:20 AM, Vincent Lefevre wrote:

No, I see it too. I didn't say anything since I already saw people complaining about it on the list ;-)
Thanks for looking into it! Regards,...

Same here. I didn't have a problem initially, because I was still logged in from before, but my cookie ran out (or I closed Safari). So it doesn't seem to be a problem with the authentication method itself, but rather the script used to gain the credentials. Chris
We're looking into it. - Kevin On May 25, 2007, at 8:18 AM, markd@macports.org wrote:
