While I had no problems with rrdtool 1.2.27, RRDs::update from version 1.3.4 (with the patches for bugs #16165 and #16505) no longer updates the timestamp of the database when doing an update. As far as I can tell, there is a conflict because of: 1. Same binary names in ${prefix}/bin 1. Same pkg-config files names in ${prefix}/lib/pkgconfig 1. Same library file names in ${prefix}/lib (only if the noframework variant is used). Two possible fixes are: * Install each package in ${prefix}/lib/${portname}, then create some sort of qt4-select port to create the appropriate links in ${prefix}/bin and ${prefix}/lib * Append -x11 or -mac to the offending files in ${prefix}/bin, ${prefix}/lib/pkgconfig, and ${prefix}/lib In either case, the ports which depend on qt4-{mac,x11} would have to be changed.
