I am using the latest Developer Tools (2.5) on OS 10.4.11. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The problem with making tcl84 and tk84 ports is that there is some symbolic links that are created, so it wouldn't be feasible to install the standard 8.5 versions at the same time. Also, since a bunch of ports rely on tcl and/or tk, we'd have to branch all of those ports to have tcl/tk84 versions too! The livecheck added in r33347 also doesn't really work great. Attached is a revised livecheck that works better and tells you what new version is available. Hi all, I too am affected by bug #15166 and I see that it's had no activity since it was created. I'm very keen to use meld, but this bug means I can't. Has this ticket been forgotten about? Any plans for someone to fix it? I would be very grateful if somebody could do so!
