The problem is that php5 does not install without apache or apache2, which I definelty do not want. {{{ Configuring SAPI modules checking for AOLserver support... no checking for Apache 1.x module support via DSO through APXS... configure: error: You have enabled Apache 1.3 support while your server is Apache 2. So I don't really no what's wrong I've messed with it a bit (pico .profile and copied over what it should be but still didn't work). So a few days later and out of ideas, I need some help. If you want the output from the curl then ill send it but other than that I don't know what to tell you.
