It would have been nice a) to have gotten feedback on the progress of the download and b) to be able to use (or fail over to) the BittTorrent download mechanism automatically. This file lists which plugins got built. The file is created by running "`dot -c`" after installation in the post-activate phase, but that means the file doesn't get to be part of the destroot. It was done this way because there was no way to tell "`dot -c`" to write to a destroot; it always wrote to the real file. The current development version of Graphviz lets you specify an alternate directory to write the file in. I forget how to do that, and I don't know if the latest stable version 2.20.3 already supports this or whether I have to wait for 2.22.
