One of the dependencies is the +universal variant of giflib. Standard giflib builds fine, but the +universal variant fails with this error: Error: Target org.macports.destroot returned: /opt/local/lib/libgif.la differs in /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_graphics_giflib/work/destroot-i386 and /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_graphics_giflib/work /destroot-x86_64 and cannot be merged As a result, I can't install Mono (using MacPorts, anyway). Trying to install py-f2py causes python24 to be installed.
