My macports working directory resides on a second harddisk, mounted on "/Volumes/Secondary HD". Notice the space in the path. For some reason, pkgdata fails to backslash the space. I have this working on Snow Leopard but have no way to test on other versions. This is based heavily on the arm-elf-gcc ports and I'm guessing at some of it since I'm really a novice at these ports. Maybe someone that knows what they are doing can improve on it.
