So the depends_lib should have been depends_build (or "depends_test") This causes a GTK+ installation to pull in GCC, which is *bloated*. A configuration item that specifies the path to the private key would be necessary to start signing packages. Regardless, MacPorts should delete any '''.rmd160''' files that are left over when uninstalling a port. It would also be beneficial if an existing '''.rmd160''' file were deleted if it exists when a new archive is created. The string match in the Portfile has thus never worked. The string match could be fixed by changing "`{/Makefile$}`" to "`{*/Makefile}`". However the only Makefile in the source is in the po directory and it does not contain the string to be replaced.
