The port fetches from a specific revision of the upstream subversion repository and that was not changed in r97935. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables OPENSSL_CFLAGS and OPENSSL_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details. }}} It seems the mosh port is missing a dependency on openssl.
