The path of the sdl lib frameworks is wrong for pygame. Pygame is searching in /Library/Frameworks/ but there are not the installed libs von macports. I haven't found a compiled version to download and got to MacPorts during my search. I installed it and updated it. I tried to get qtiplot by typing into Terminal "sudo port install qtiplot" the Work started, but I got this error message: ---> Computing dependencies for qtiplotError: Unable to execute port: can't read "build.cmd": Failed to locate 'make' in path: '/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin' or at its MacPorts configuration time location, did you move it? Can someone please help me and give me a detailed instruction on how to get the qtiplot program running. The destroot does not necessarily exist at activation time. For example, if a port it installed, activated, deactivated, then activated again. Or if a port is installed from a pre-compiled binary from the packages server. This was reported by Wim Deblauwe on the users mailing list and on [http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/54781/problem-installing-rpm- using-macports stack exchange]. So there's at least two problems: 1. mariadb is using boost but does not declare a dependency on it 2. mariadb appears not to be compatible with the version of boost in MacPorts I don't know what boost does for mariadb, so someone who does know should decide whether we should: 1. make mariadb always use boost, and patch it so it works with the current version of boost, and add a boost dependency to the mariadb port, or 2. make mariadb never use boost, even if it is already installed -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/34955> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
