I wanted to install qt4 and pyqt4 and came across macports and thought it would be easier to install. At first it gave me error about not find the command line utilities in xcode. I took care of it by installing it via code. now when I execute sudo port install py-pyqt4, i get the following message {{{ ---> Computing dependencies for py-pyqt4 ---> Dependencies to be installed: py24-pyqt4 qt4-mac ---> Building qt4-mac Error: org.macports.build for port qt4-mac returned: command execution failed Error: Failed to install qt4-mac Please see the log file for port qt4-mac for details: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_aqua_qt4-mac/qt4-mac/main.log Error: The following dependencies were not installed: py24-pyqt4 qt4-mac To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide: http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets Error: Processing of port py-pyqt4 failed }}} I recently upgraded my system to mountain lion. The output I see is: $ sudo port -d install openssh ... checking for libwrap... configure: error: *** libwrap missing ... It looks like libwrap was removed from the OS X 10.8 SDK. I found two possible fixes: 1. Change the configure option --with-tcp-wrapprs to --without-tcp- wrappers 2.
