While ccache passes all arguments to preprocessor, and clang will spit unused arguments warning. This will result in error when building ppl. Before ccache is fixed upstream, it is better to turn off ccache for ppl when building with clang. It freezes while trying to load the xsane plugin. Attempts to remove xsane lead to the system refusing as Gimp 2.8.2 depends on it. Happy to test any suggested solutions, time permitting. Macports kept reporting that the install was broken and kept trying to fix it by reinstalling, but it kept failing. I want to install some ports (R, gcc, ...) which need llvm-3.1. The first time I wanted to install llvm-3.1 (directly or by the installation of R) I had this message: {{{ Error: No valid Xcode installation is properly selected. Error: Please use xcode-select to select an Xcode installation: Error: sudo xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer # version }}} After check if "/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer" exists, I write the sudo command suggested. The long description is correct. The description is incorrect because you're not looking to see if a MAC address is taken just the IP address. But I get some bswap.h files in the mythtv temp directories. I had one small hiccup early on and had to run sudo port -f activate perl5 to get past it. After several more hours I got to the build process for mythtv-core.25 itself, which failed. Running OS 10.5.8 on this PPC Dual G5. Running Xcode 3.1.4.
