The provided patch disables cloog version checking since once ticket #36385 is resolved, cloog will upgrade to 0.17.0, which gcc 4.7.2 won't be able to detect during configure. Disabling version check is ok because cloog doesn't break any ABI after upgrade. Tested with +universal. Please also note ticket #36364, which is also an important addition. Lots of warnings like this: {{{ edit.c:683:1: warning: type specifier missing, defaults to 'int' [-Wimplicit-int] edit_hash_label(a) ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ }}} and resulting errors like this: {{{ edit.c:700:40: error: non-void function 'edit_hash_label' should return a value [-Wreturn-type] if ((s = getlabel()) == CNULL) return; ^ }}} Adding {{{ configure.compiler gcc }}} to the Portfile resolves the issue. I've verified this crash with php-oracle and TOra so I assume other ports including soci-devel are affected too. Therefore this patch makes soci-devel build 32-bit on Lion and up when the +oracle variant is selected. I'll be doing similar patches for other ports using oracle- instantclient.
