I do have the latest [http://osxfuse.github.com / OSXfuse] installed for Forklift FTP app. I know that both OSXfuse and fuse4x attempt to do similar things, so not sure if that is causing the issue. More specifically, the symlinks {ht, htcontext, htlatex, htmex, httex, httexi, htxelatex, htxetex, mk4ht} in /opt/local/bin, link to scripts in directory /opt/local/share/texmf-texlive-dist/scripts/tex4ht which does not exist. I don't know if that is relevant, but before running {{{sudo port upgrade outdated}}} I uninstalled the R port and tried to install the R-framework port instead {{{sudo port install R-framework}}}. This also failed when trying to install the wxwindows port. Installing mysql55(-server) is not the problem, I also ran “sudo port select mysql mysql55”. When I searched for a documentation I found a page [http://scotty-t.com/2012/04/02/intstalling-mysql-5-5-on-os-x -mountain-lion/] that recommends not using MacPorts’ MySQL, but the install package from Oracle’s/MySQL’s site. Maybe I will do that, on the other hand updating “sudo port -vu upgrade outdated” is quite handy, apart from the mentioned trouble.
