The configure phase failed with the following error message (lifted from the log, which is attached): {{{ :debug:configure Executing command line: cd "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_Users_lady3jane_ports- local_textproc_liblrdf/liblrdf/work/LRDF-0.5.0" && autoreconf --install :info:configure aclocal: error: aclocal: file 'm4/lt~obsolete.m4' does not exist :info:configure autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1 }}} [[https://github.com/swh/LRDF/blob/7ebc03286f4ec180acae27565028f8d45055df2e/m… can be seen in the project's GitHub browser]], the file m4/lt~obsolete.m4 and all of the other m4/*.m4 files are symlinks to paths that do not exist in the MacPorts autotools installations. The attached patch fixes the port by deleting all of the m4/*.m4 files. According to http://pypi.python.org/pypi/novas/ {{{novas}}} now is Python 3 compatible, so Python {{{32}}} and {{{33}}} should be added to {{{python.versions}}}. Python {{{25}}} should be removed from the list, because this package is not Python 2.5 compatible. Since it is not copyrighted, it cannot be licensed; it is simply free. What should be set as "license" in the Portfile? It is very useful in education and research. Besides, it is the only open-source solution for this purpose. However, I can't find this package in Macports, but I can find it in Fink http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/engauge-digitizer. It is quite inconvenient for me and probably many researchers. Furthermore, it is kind of sad for Macport to exclude such a good software. So, may I request to port Engauge to Mac OS via Macports? Or, is there an easy way to use Fink's package inside Macports? So I tried (this worked on Cygwin, for example...) : {{{ $ cd /opt/local/etc/ $ sudo cp -p example-freshclam.conf freshclam.conf $ sudo emacs -nw freshclam.conf }}} ...and with Emacs I commented out the line {{{ Example }}} So I tried : {{{ $ cd $ sudo freshclam }}} but it results in {{{ ERROR: Can't change dir to /opt/local/share/clamav }}} with {{{ $ ls -lrt /opt/local/share/clamav ls: /opt/local/share/clamav: No such file or directory }}} ...and I am a little confused, now... :( Should I install some other packages? which? I haven't found any documentation about how to use Clamav on MacPorts... Any suggestions?
