This may result in a nonoptimal selection when a port is built on one computer and then installed on another. This is very common now that we have a buildbot automatically building and distributing ports. Instead the port should have "fast" and "small" variants. The port can then select one of these variants based on the amount of installed RAM. Apparently, most of it went fine except for openmotif (which I need for geomview). I searched for related tickets and the best one I found was #24237, but all of the openmotif deps were built with +universal (except for xbitmaps).
