As a result, gsl cannot be build on Sandy-bridge or Ivy-bridge systems when the variant optimize and one of the gcc variants are enabled. Here is a patch that disables AVX for variants +gcc44, +gcc45, gcc46 and gcc47. CGDB would hang on exit. The work-around is to hit <ESC> (go into cgdb mode) and then exit from there (":q"). It's an easy work around but will cause major frustration for users. Currently `log4cplus` builds using its own `libtool` shipped in the distribution. That `libtool` does not support linking against `libc++` (as it discards any `-stdlib` option passed). When trying to build JCC (part of building pylucene, see http://lucene.apache.org/pylucene/) compilation fails with error about using -bundle. Attached patch changes python27 setup to use -dynamiclib instead of -bundle on OS X > 10.7. Tested on OS X 10.8.4, am able to build JCC (and pylucene). What is more correct directory? - check if possible to replace set of "xinstall ..." with "make install DESTROOT=xxx" - startupitem uses default database that should be created first time it is used. Currently port just shows instructions to user and user should run them manually.
