However, it is still working under the hood because if I type, e.g. "ctrl- space app[return]" it will open up the App Store - it just doesn't show anything. This bug effectively makes Quicksilver impossible to use. I have verified on a brand new Lion installation that the instructions in section 2.2.1.1. for Xcode 4.3 which install the command line tools still apply to Xcode 4.4. Logic would dictate, then, that the section heading "Install Xcode on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion" could also be updated to include 10.8 Mountain Lion, though I am unable to verify this at the moment. FYI, the recommended command "{{{$ sudo munin-node-configure --suggest --shell | sh}}}" would fail because sh would not be run as root. That would need another invocation of sudo. This causes pdftex or dvips to fail if these fonts are used with an error along the lines of: {{{ kpathsea: Running mktexpk --mfmode ljfour --bdpi 8000 --mag 1+4800/(2*4000) --dpi 12800 uplb8r mktexpk: don't know how to create bitmap font for uplb8r. }}} Adding "Map upl.map" to this file, running "sudo /opt/local/libexec /texlive-update-cnf updmap.cfg" followed by "sudo updmap-sys" fixed the problem. I assume this file is generated from the contents of the Portfile, and it could be fixed by adding the corresponding line there?
