I recently resumed a saved game and, ultimately, died (YASD). While it was gratifying to see that I made the top score, it was in fact the ONLY score--my prior ascensions were no longer on display! Fortunately TIme Machine was able to mitigate this disaster ( :) ), but it would be nice if the port, when installed, renamed the "record" and "logfile" files in share/nethackdir to "record.orig" and "logfile.orig", respectively, then copied to the non-suffixed names only if they did not already exist (similar to what is done for config files for other ports). The bug is that the build.args-appends directive in the Portfile overrides the Makefile's CFLAGS that the x11 variant patches in. Removing the build.args-apend directive from the Portfile fixes the issue and is, largely unnecessary. (O vs O2 though...) This is from the x11 Makefile patch, {{{ -CFLAGS = -O -I../include +CFLAGS = -O -I../include -I/usr/X11R6/include }}} This is what exists in build.args-append, {{{ build.args-append CFLAGS="-O2 -I../include" }}} So the {{{-I/usr/X11R6/include}}} never gets respected. For some reason I had to comment out {{{ OGLConstraint = wx._core._deprecated(Constraint, "The OGLConstraint name is deprecated, use `ogl.Constraint` instead.") }}} from {{{ ${frameworks_dir}/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/site- packages/sogl/_composit.py }}} from the `py-sogl` package, but it's not yet clear to me why. I'm still getting an error: {{{ /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7 /site-packages/pyphant/wxgui2/wxPyphantApplication.py:70: wxPyDeprecationWarning: Using deprecated class PySimpleApp. wx.PySimpleApp.__init__(self) }}} but that seems like an upstream problem. The app itself starts, but I don't really know how to use it. When launching the bundled app, it starts bouncing and doesn't seem to run. I boldly tried to link against `py27-wxpython-3.0`. Given that the beta has been released recently, any remaining problems with 2.9 should really be fixed now since supporting 2.8 will be a nightmare. Please take a look and try to fix the remaining problem. It died, and I applied the patch (gcc -O3 instead of gcc -O4) found here: http://bugs.arb-home.de/changeset/8675/trunk/Makefile I tried again, and it died in a new way: /usr/bin/gcc-4.2: No such file or directory It was building in the 'PERL2ARB' directory, and it got the CC variable from /opt/local/lib/perl5/5.12.4/darwin-thread-multi-2level/Config.pm It appears that the perl5.12 port needs to find /usr/bin/llvm-gcc-4.2 during installation. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36474> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
