I need to manually remove the symlinks and try again. After installation I need to replace music and playlists with symlinks again. Life would be much easier if the installation/upgrade procedure would be more tolerant and check the status of these directories, and don't overwrite if they exist or if they are not writeable. The default audio device was detected ok. The latest stable version is 0.4, which has Python 3 support and many new features and changes: * http://pywavelets.readthedocs.org/en/latest/release.0.4.0.html * https://pypi.python.org/pypi/PyWavelets/0.4.0 If someone can update py-pywavelets to version 0.4 and add Python 3 ports, that would be great! Alternatively, given that pip install pywavelets works, I think removing the port would also be OK. It seems this was due to calling a function from port:pth without proper initialisation (which appears to be done implicitly). However, I am wondering if in this case it would not make more sense to maintain the HTML docs port as subports of `python??` ports itself, rather that as separate "python modules" (at least by naming scheme). This would avoid all the version fuss currently around and allow to easily keep versions consistent with the python versions itself. Also, you might want to consider if renaming these would not make sense, as with the current naming these seem to be python modules which would allow some sort of imports.
