When I tried to upgrade it to 0.8, I realized that it was trying to circumvent the `$DESTDIR`: {{{ make[1]: Entering directory `/path/to/dyncall/work/dyncall-0.8/dyncall' mkdir -p /opt/local/lib mkdir -p /opt/local/include cp libdyncall_s.a /opt/local/lib cp: /opt/local/lib/libdyncall_s.a: Operation not permitted make[1]: *** [install] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/path/to/dyncall/work/dyncall-0.8/dyncall' make: *** [install-libdyncall] Error 2 }}} This seems to be an upstream bug, perhaps introduced in 0.8. But I noticed that CMake was also supported, so I switched to CMake successfully. When comparing the resulting package with the one in http://packages.macports.org/dyncall/, I realized that CMake forgets to install the man page. I'm attaching a diff file that fixes most issues except for the man page. If this patch is accepted then #47993 is no longer needed because it's fixed upstream. I've also made the port dependent on p5-lchown rather than specifically p5.16-lchown. Hope that's the right approach. This is my first MacPorts patch.
