(seg. fault 11) Moreover it is very slow to launch with dbus error ** (evince:2145): WARNING **: Error retrieving accessibility bus address: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. I changed them to smaller numbers, and changed instances of "64" to "32", and it is compiling now, but giving warnings: {{{ ../ccutil/helpers.h:50: warning: right shift count >= width of type }}} Tesseract compiles with this change, but everything that makes reference to this header file complains (of course). I know this is not the solution; I just wanted to test for myself to see if this was the problem. A short search on /opt/local showed that the executables were installed under /opt/local/lib/p7zip. It is my strong belief that the correct place for the executables is /opt/local/bin, while the libraries are properly placed under /opt/local/lib/p7zip. I have of course linked my executables to bin, while leaving them in /opt/local/lib/p7zip so as to not upset port, but I suggest that the above referenced correction be made to this port.'' It installs Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.11.sdk but to run Qt needs Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.9.sdk To run rename the 11 to 9. It should be 10 !!! I've not looked so the SDK may be part of Xcode not from macports.
