Running `sudo port -v install po4a` starts install 2. All dependencies correctly download and build 3. `po4a` correctly downloads 4. Build fails with output: {{{ Undefined subroutine &PerlIO::F_UTF8 called at /opt/local/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.16.3/Pod/Man.pm line 775. ...propagated at Po4aBuilder.pm line 267. }}} I've also tried directly downloading the source tarball and building manually with the same error. The directory is created by copying the contents of '/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/share/zenmap/config'. The specific error was "[Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/share/zenmap/config'" Zenmap needs to create this directory to store information such as the list of scan profiles. Check for access to the directory and try again.''' ---- The directory /Users/fred/.zenmap already exists with contents that appear to be from the previous version. Looking in /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/share/zenmap/ there is nothing named config. The zenmap directory is empty. I see that `jul_bsd` added additional patches, but I wasn't sure which ones are still relevent. If you are still here and willing to check what else might be needed, feel free to post a new patch and I can include that one. Maybe there is a way to install an older (private) version of rrdtool somehow? Anyway, I don't know if this port is needed/wanted. RRD version '1.5001' not yet supported! Command failed: /opt/local/bin/perl5.22 ./install.pl ./etc/nfsen-dist.conf }}} The `rrdtool` is currently at version 1.5.5. I upgraded `p5-net-nfdump` in r143405 hoping it might have any influence (and simply because it needed an update), but nothing changes. I tried to switch to version 1.7 of `nfsen`, but that doesn't solve anything. See the [comment:3:ticket:22922 comment of the retired maintainer]: > I recommended this port be deleted, for the reasons you can see. I thought there would be some way to patch this port, but without developer support there isn't a lot that can be done. The nedi port used to install this file incorrectly, bypassing the destroot. This was reported in #40700 and fixed in r128981, however a pre- activate phase was not added to the port to automatically clean up the results of the former incorrect behavior, thus leading to the activation problem now. Such a block should be added.
