For example, opencv @2.4.11 had /opt/local/lib/libopencv_core.2.4.dylib while opencv @3.0.0 has /opt/local/lib/libopencv_core.3.0.dylib. So all ports linking with opencv libraries need to have their revisions increased to relink with the new libraries. That's part of the responsibility of updating a port when updating the port changes the library versions.
