Drive wiped. OS X 10.4.11 PPC. New MacPorts installation. Ran 'sudo port install curl' curl installed. This morning curl was crashing. Ran 'sudo port selfupdate', 'sudo port upgrade outdated' and "curl-ca-bundle 7.47.1 net/curl" installed -again-. Curl is still crashing (and also still functional and shows no error during usage.) Well, since UTF8 can encode ANY character, that sounded odd. Turns out, the file is incorrectly encoded in Windows 1252.
