#17912: ffmpeg-php Mac Port? ------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- Reporter: tim.tiemann@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: enhancement | Status: closed Priority: High | Milestone: Port Enhancements Component: ports | Version: 1.7.0 Resolution: invalid | Keywords: ffmpeg, ffmpeg-php, Ticket #13344 Port: | ------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- Changes (by devans@…): * status: new => closed * resolution: => invalid * port: ffmpeg => Comment: Looks like there currently are no ports available in MacPorts for ffmpeg- php and mencoder. You have a couple of options: * File a ticket requesting that these ports be added to MacPorts then wait and see if someone is interested in doing this. * Create new Portfiles yourself and then submit them via a ticket for inclusion by a committer. The second option is probably more likely to get results and is a good way to get involved with MacPorts and learn about how Portfiles work, etc. See the guide [http://guide.macports.org] for details of creating a Portfile. You might want to start with one of the existing PHP extension Portfiles and modify it as needed. Try {{{ port search php }}} to find existing ports having to do with PHP The ffmpeg-php home page is here [http://ffmpeg-php.sourceforge.net/], current version is 0.6.0 For help with questions you may run into writing a Portfile, the macports- devel list is your best bet.
