#29624: tortoisehg: add launcher in applications_dir -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Reporter: ryandesign@… | Owner: guido@… Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.2 Keywords: haspatch | Port: tortoisehg -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Since tortoisehg is a gui app, it might be nice to install an app in applications_dir, if that makes sense. The attached patch does this. What do you think? I see thg can be launched with various parameters on the command line. Are any of these essential to the program's use, or can all these functions be accomplished by launching it with no parameters and then selecting menus within the gui? This patch installs the app with a generic icon; getting it to use the tortoisehg icon is a separate matter that I'm still experimenting with (trying to use makeicns) but I wouldn't let the issue of the generic icon hold up the general issue of having something in applications_dir to doubleclick on. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29624> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
