#35677: macports not working... ------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- Reporter: eatshit@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.2 Keywords: | Port: ------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- Hello. I recently upgraded to Mac OS X Mountain Lion. After doing that, I am now unable to install anything using, "sudo port install..." Everytime I try to do that, I get, "Unable to execute port: can't read "build.cmd": Failed to locate 'make' in path: '/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin' or at its MacPorts configuration time location, did you move it?" I researched on the Internet & was told that I need to upgrade XCode. So, I did upgrade XCode to a version that is compatible to OS X Mountain Lion. Plus, I uninstalled MacPorts & downloaded the Mountain Lion version of MacPorts & installed that. In spite of doing all that, I am still getting that error. Why am I still getting that error? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/35677> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
