#17861: RFE: Remove +ipv6 and make it default ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: raimue@… | Owner: raimue@… Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Port Enhancements Component: ports | Version: 1.7.0 Keywords: ipv6 | Port: bro, claws-mail, curl, djbdns, epic5, ethereal, fping, gauche, hfsrsync, imap-uw, net-snmp, oftpd, openldap, qt3-mac, sylpheed, sylpheed-devel, tin, tin-devel, tin-recent, wireshark, xchat2 ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Some ports still have a +ipv6 variant. Most of them only pass --disable- ipv6/--enable-ipv6 to the configure script and do not add additional dependencies. As many other ports already provide support for IPv6 by default, I would like to remove +ipv6 altogether and support IPv6 by default also for these ports. Affected ports: || bro || pmq@macports.org || || claws-mail || nomaintainer@macports.org || || curl || ryandesign@macports.org || || djbdns || nomaintainer@macports.org || || epic5 || nomaintainer@macports.org || || ethereal || opendarwin.org@darkart.com || || fping || nomaintainer@macports.org || || gauche || akitada@macports.org,openmaintainer@macports.org || || hfsrsync || nomaintainer@macports.org || || imap-uw || nomaintainer@macports.org || || net-snmp || opendarwin.org@darkart.com,openmaintainer@macports.org || || oftpd || nomaintainer@macports.org || || openldap || landonf@macports.org || || qt3-mac || blair@macports.org || || sylpheed || nomaintainer@macports.org || || sylpheed-devel || nomaintainer@macports.org || || tin || nomaintainer@macports.org || || tin-devel || nomaintainer@macports.org || || tin-recent || vincent-opdarw@vinc17.org || || wireshark || opendarwin.org@darkart.com || || xchat2 || afb@macports.org,openmaintainer@macports.org || Please give feedback.
