#6488: BUG: hfsrsync-2.5.5 run time issue - can't handle missing files -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Reporter: mnot@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Port Bugs Component: ports | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: Port: hfsrsync | -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Changes (by blb@…): * cc: blb@… (added) * port: => hfsrsync Old description:
When a file is removed during hfssync operation, it complains loudly;
hfsrsync(2037) malloc: *** error for object 0x411eb50: double free hfsrsync(2037) malloc: *** set a breakpoint in szone_error to debug send_files failed to open /Users/mnot/Library/Mail/Envelope Index- journal: No such file or directory
Doing this multiple times for every missing file (probably one for each block?).

Has upstream hfsrsync development stopped entirely?
Looks that way to me, I vote we drop this port. Any objections? -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/6488#comment:9> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
