 Installation fails in this configuration:

 Mac OS X 10.6.8[[BR]]
 Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard

 The problem is that with Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard the compilers in
 /usr/bin are

 /usr/bin/gcc[[BR]]
 /usr/bin/i686-apple-darwin10-llvm-gcc-4.2[[BR]]
 /usr/bin/llvm-gcc[[BR]]
 /usr/bin/llvm-gcc-4.2

 while the installer is looking for /usr/bin/gcc-4.2.
