#42297: Upgrade libewf ----------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: dersh@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: update | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.2.1 Resolution: | Keywords: Port: libewf | ----------------------+-------------------------------- Old description:
The current version of libewf is from 2010. When libewf port is present it is used by The Sleuth Kit. The upgrade to TSK 4.1.3 is no longer compatible with this version of libewf. So if libewf is installed the upgrade fails with a link error. See:
Also, the libewf project has moved from sourceforge to google code. The current version is available here: [https://googledrive.com/host/0B3fBvzttpiiSMTdoaVExWWNsRjg/libewf-20131230.ta...] (This is pointed to from the main page: [http://code.google.com/p/libewf/]) I downloaded it, and configure, make seems to build fine "out of the box". So, it seems that an upgrade to this port should be trivial, although the libewf port is currently unmaintained.
