#13382: can't map URL for www.python.org -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Reporter: crkrenn@gmail.com | Owner: macports-dev@lists.macosforge.org Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.5.2 Keywords: | -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- My first problem with macports involves a fetch problem. (see error below). The python web site was up and available. I worked around this by downloading the tar.bz2 file to /opt/local/var/macports/sources/local/ and adding file:///opt/local/var/macports/sources/local/ to /opt/local/etc/macports/sources.conf However, I'd like to understand what was going wrong. Thanks! -Chris
